Come Tuesday, December 23 fourteen young beautiful girls will step out at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos to slug it out in the first Miss Photogenic Pageant. Who wears the crown? The 14 finalists, who were picked from over 150 contestants through on-line voting and auditioning done at the Raplica Studios include Adanma Oguike, Effi Young, Happiness, Jekada Kusayet, Jennifer Dinchi Silas, Kainebi Omelu and Kelechi Igwurube. Others are Maris Omo, Ogbeloji Ada Chineze, Olajumoke Sanyaolu, Patience Eriba, Princess, Ruth Agbo and Salamade. According to Mr Chris Opara, organizer of the event, the lucky winner would go home with the photogenic car of the moment, a brand new Kia Rio “Guests should expect something unique and different from anything they’ve seen before. All the guests would form members of the panel of judges. Beyond giving guests the opportunity of looking at pictures taken by the finalists before the gala nite, we shall also give them the opportunity of seeing them physically and access their natural beauty. Our belief is that what you see from the outside radiates from the inside. The contestants would be given the opportunity to exhibit to guests the beauty they hold inside,” Opara said. Expected at the event are the Speaker House of Representatives, Hon. Dimeji Bankole, members of the National Assembly, Nollywood stakeholders, brand managers, media and photogenic personalities.
