PDP (PROBLEM DEVELOPMENT PEOPLE)

There are parties in Nigeria; but there’s this one party, PDP (Problem Development Party). Big is the heart of evil minded men! Do you know so much money grew wings and flew away during the eight years administration lead by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. Even the ones caught by the EFCC while flying later grew wings and doubled their speed. We remember how =N= 5 Million grew wings and flew away from the office of Nigeria Ports Authority lead by our trustworthy Chief Olabode George. The prosecution of almost all the Governors and they were all PDP; like the case of His Excellency, Ex Governor Odili of Niger State; Ex Governor James Ibori of Delta State (£20 Million in UK Banks), Ex Governor Alamieyeseigha of Bayelsa State, Ex Governor of Kwara State Governor- Dr. Bukola Saraki; Just to mention a few of the numerous cases.
We all remember that Lagos State was denied her allocation during the Obasanjo regime but thank God for we had His Excellency, Ex-Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu who made breathing a possibility. He supported us whole-heartedly with our state’s self generated revenue and laid a good legacy for posterity. Now, the people of Lagos State are enjoying the glorious combination of ambitious people and a life made easy by His Excellency, Governor Babatunde Raji Fasola.
I don’t think it’s right of anyone to say His Highness, Honorable Bankole is a foolish man for declaring that PDP would use soldiers for Ekiti State Election; but we can only say our great speaker is a man of war. For more than a hundred years, the people of Oyo State have suffered seriously until death claimed our beloved father, Late Chief Adedibu. He was a real man of war and a dictator of the mighty PDP in Oyo State. Formal Deputy Governor of Ondo State made history by snatching the ballot box and running with it in the past election; we all understand his plight for the safety of the ballot box.
Seems like yesterday, the slaughter of our Hero, Chief Bola Ige and Chief Funso Williams; the very beginning of the Niger Delta Militants; the sorrowful killing of people, students, in Jos and Portharcourt; the sale of our refineries which were later revoked, and history will never forget the struggle for the failed third term. All these happened under the ruling party, PDP.
A 48yo, blind and deaf man is being managed by a dangerous animal. But the animal cannot go anywhere without the man. This man also lost his mind but whenever the dangerous animal speaks, he comprehends; but his eyes would remain closed and his mind, sealed. Whenever the dangerous animal gives him money, his eyes would open and his mind would follow the dangerous animal. Once the animal gets to wherever it’s going, it stops speaking, collects the money back from the man so the man becomes deaf, blind and looses him mind once again. This is how this man spends every four years in total darkness until the need to follow the dangerous animal rises again. But there’s only one cure to the man’s problem so he could be free for life; all he needs is history. Not just history, but continuous tale of the dangerous animal. This man is Nigeria and the dangerous animal is PDP. Let the tale of the PDP glitter in your mind all the time so you could make the right decision in the coming election and remain free for life.
In countries like the USA and Ghana where there are “just leader”, one would realize they have only two parties. If one party, say PDP is not leading well; the other party, say AC (Action Congress); would easily get the support of the nation, join hands together and push PDP out of leadership. We can also do this! Let other small parties come together to form one single and strong party; with the support of the entire nation, it is sure that PDP would become a history in Nigeria Politics.
Nigerians are all set to make this country a better place to living. We are absolutely tired of the PDP’s cock and bull stories. Like the Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo said, “great men think alike”; our minds are set and ready for a better change. Powerful is the voice of men; men with glory; men with ambition; men who are firm and strong; men who remember how much blood our fore-fathers shed in making 1st October, 1960 a reality; men who have focus; men who have great passion for humanity; men with prosperous will; men whose minds are one; men whose minds think alike; men who say “VOTE OUT PDP”.
Thank You!
Lawal Quasim Bankole.

PDP (PROBLEM DEVELOPMENT PARTY)

PDP (PROBLEM DEVELOPMENT PARTY)
PDP! Popularly known as the “People Democratic Party” but better described as “Problem Development Party”. How could one conclude that this party is truly inhibits all the tools and instrument of destruction and problem? It all became an obsession when a new born baby cried bitterly saying “his father belongs to a party that has contributed greatly to the backward movement of this nation” and died shortly after saying “he refused to belong to such a family”. The painful thing is that this man has been looking for a baby boy for over 2 centuries. Everyone in the hospital including myself began to ponder that is this little boy could recognize how dangerous his father is as a member of the PDP, how much more the entire Nigerian. I still couldn’t believe, so I proceed with a proper view of this party.
I salute the eight years era of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo; sometimes referred to as the “Ebora of Owu Land”. Some people call him the “god himself”. It’s quite more than sad to realize that corruption, election rigging, fraud and sufferings where the credits the administration earned for the long eight years in power.
I also salute the Ex President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo that the sale of 1004 Building, the electricity/power project failure, rapid and continuous increment in the prices of petroleum products, increment in school fees and bad educational reform, the evolvement of Niger Delta Militants, collection of un-accountable money through the use of EFCC (recently the present IG of police announced that he could not trace the whereabouts of the =N= 16 Billion recovered from the past IG of police. How much more other money recovered.), frustration of the youths into internet fraud, approval of contracts to non existing firms, flying out of the country at regular and closed intervals for a reason unclear to the country, dismissal of various funds, manipulation of elections, and so many more; all happened under the administration of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. Whenever I hear Obasanjo Farms Ltd, I remember “Operation Feed the Nation”; and whenever I see the electricity card meter, I remember the $13.5 Billion spent on power project. For more than 100 years, I have not witnessed electricity and when you hear people shout “Up Nepa”, it means someone has put on Candle. This is serious! If not that I’m a very young man, I would have said Baba is an “International Thief Thief (ITT)” as described by the living legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti. And I won’t say I read it in the news paper sometimes ago that Baba fell in love with his own son’s wife and thereby dissolve the marriage of his wonderful son.
Honor is to men and women, who fight vigorously with their lives to win a party into office. It is also a big blow that the price these same men and women receive from the same party for their die hard struggle is pure infidelity. Or what do we call a case whereby no project is being done in Ekiti State ever since His Excellency, Governor Segun Oni assumed office? Kudos to Ex Governor Fayose who focused on the beautification of Ekiti State and just little more time for him to complete his great infrastructural development, he was thrown out of office by his own men. The people of Ekiti State shed tears and even shed blood for only one reason. And that reason is that ever since the creation of Ekiti State, Ex Governor Fayose has been the only person who made it known to the Ekiti State people, that hope is not yet lost. When a person kills another, the killer is labeled a murderer. But I don’t know how to describe a case where by His Excellency, Governor Segun Oni decided to neglect the beautiful work of his predecessor and allow “Ejigbo Roundabout” to turn into a casualty junction. Thank God a Bank finally came to the people’s aid and constructs the roundabout. That was the exact junction where Ex Governor Fayose stopped his beautiful work before he was paid with embarrassment and disregard by his own people. And just like I would do if I were him; I will fight with all my life and make PDP a history in Ekiti State. Ex Governor Fayose is a man of the people; a man with so much love for humanity!

Inauguration 2009 full text of President Obama's speech:

My fellow citizens: I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors. I thank President Bush for his service to our nation, as well as the generosity and co-operation he has shown throughout this transition.

Watch Barack Obama's inauguration live

Forty-four Americans have now taken the presidential oath. The words have been spoken during rising tides of prosperity and the still waters of peace. Yet, every so often the oath is taken amidst gathering clouds and raging storms. At these moments, America has carried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those in high office, but because We the People have remained faithful to the ideals of our forbearers, and true to our founding documents.

So it has been. So it must be with this generation of Americans.

That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet.

These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics. Less measurable but no less profound is a sapping of confidence across our land - a nagging fear that America's decline is inevitable, and that the next generation must lower its sights.

Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America - they will be met.

On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord.

On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn out dogmas, that for far too long have strangled our politics.

We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things. The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit; to choose our better history; to carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea, passed on from generation to generation: the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness.

In reaffirming the greatness of our nation, we understand that greatness is never a given. It must be earned. Our journey has never been one of short-cuts or settling for less. It has not been the path for the faint-hearted - for those who prefer leisure over work, or seek only the pleasures of riches and fame. Rather, it has been the risk-takers, the doers, the makers of things - some celebrated but more often men and women obscure in their labour, who have carried us up the long, rugged path towards prosperity and freedom.

For us, they packed up their few worldly possessions and travelled across oceans in search of a new life.

For us, they toiled in sweatshops and settled the West; endured the lash of the whip and ploughed the hard earth.

For us, they fought and died, in places like Concord and Gettysburg; Normandy and Khe Sahn.

Time and again these men and women struggled and sacrificed and worked till their hands were raw so that we might live a better life. They saw America as bigger than the sum of our individual ambitions; greater than all the differences of birth or wealth or faction.

This is the journey we continue today. We remain the most prosperous, powerful nation on Earth. Our workers are no less productive than when this crisis began. Our minds are no less inventive, our goods and services no less needed than they were last week or last month or last year. Our capacity remains undiminished. But our time of standing pat, of protecting narrow interests and putting off unpleasant decisions - that time has surely passed. Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America.

For everywhere we look, there is work to be done. The state of the economy calls for action, bold and swift, and we will act - not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We will restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology's wonders to raise health care's quality and lower its cost. We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories. And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. And all this we will do.

Now, there are some who question the scale of our ambitions - who suggest that our system c

SIR: In America it is something of a holy grail that after the first 100 days, regarded customarily as a political grace period, an administration that has not shown the direction it is taking the country is in peril of failure. The Yar'Adua administration is well into its second year. It has only one more year, 2009, before election year. It talks of the seven-point agenda and Vision 20-20. The fact on the ground does not bear any vision out. They seem to be mere slogans that are at best nebulous, at worst the fallacies in a grand deception.

SSS "propose" Firewall "proxy" for specific webites in Nigeria.
With the continous clampdown on bloggers in the 9jablogosphere . An erstwhile proposal by some think Tanks

within the SSS and top intelligence arms of the nigerian Government are proposing a bill

to restrict access to certain websites that have been deemed virtual insurgents to the

Federal Republic of Nigeria.

One of our sources deep within the gossip corridors of the Nigerian Ministry of defense

claims the clamping down of Bloggers like jonathan Elendu and Emmanuel emeka Asiwe will

be the First phase .incidentally both journalist are still under State surveilance and not

allowed to leave the country.

Both journalists have been put on scrutiny and a list of such websites have been drawn up.
top on their list is saharareprters.com

speaking to our news reporter and wishing to remain anonymous a junior clerk within the

SSS

obtained Semi Classified documents that have the hitlist of such websites .These documents

were previously uploaded on youtube and have been taken down after threats by the state

government.

It is worthy to note the increased insurgency of Chinese immmigrants to Nigeria . Most

notable is the practice by the Chinese govenrment of Censoring Internet access in

China. You can view the chinese internet experience by downloading the firefox extension

called the china channel at http://chinachannel.hk

the results will amaze you !
more to come !

Petroleum Minister
By Marcel Mbamalu

Constitutional lawyer and Chairman of the Patriots, Professor Ben Nwabueze, at the weekend, said President Olusegun Obasanjo did not violate any section of the Constitution by appointing himself the substantive minister of Petroleum during his tenure as president.

Nwabueze was reacting to the continued condemnation trailing the decision barely two years after the expiration of Obasanjo's tenure and the indictment, by the House of Representatives, of former attorneys-general of the federation, including late Chief Bola Ige, for failing to advise the former president against that decision.
